The load-bearing capacity
of the SL
100 is
now rated at 800 lbs per side. This increase of 300 lbs
of the rigging capacity has been made possible by using
a galvanized steel fastening device without altering
the structural integrity or adding weight to the stage.
Such an improvement allows for rigging bigger sound systems.
This new feature is now standard on all new models produced
since April 2007. All SL
100 built before this
date can be upgraded with this kit.

Ex Award 2007: Mission accomplished for the Promobile
The verdict
is in: Motorola’s StudioMoto campaign
won this year’s Grand Ex Award! Such a success
is reflected on Stageline since the agency responsible
for the project, Chicago-based OgilvyAction, used a Promobile to create the quintessential experiential marketing.
With more than 1700 sq² of
usable space, split up into two (2) levels and 2100 sq² of
advertising space, the Promobile proved to be the perfect
tool for this type of operation, where high mobility,
flexibility and tight schedules are the norm rather than
the exception. The first floor hosted the product trial
area, featuring demo stations, sampling kiosk and live
interaction; the second floor, towering at 24’ above
ground level, received a VIP treatment and got transformed
into a cosy lounge area with a breathtaking view of the
site. The Promobile responded perfectly to the challenge
at a hand, a 12 week tour across the United States, 36
events and an target of getting more than one million
of consumers in a buying mode.
L’Assomption,QC– The
new SAM 555, featuring the covered sound wing deck system,
made its official débuts on July 1st,
in Montréal, for the Manu Chao concert. The
two 40' x 20 sound
wing decks (32' X 20' covered) provide
for a convenient and ample band staging space, not
to mention an optimal protection of crews, instruments
and equipment in case of bad weather. Another important
feature is the modular door system, featuring seven
(7) freight doors, located on the four sides of each
platform. As a result, both platforms can
be used as covered docks, hence easing loading
and unloading operations. Especially designed and built
to fit the SAM 555 series, the covered sound wings
system is likely to be a must for any major
outdoor event requiring extensive production logistics.
Based on the equipment’s performance several
outdoors concerts across North
America will be benefiting
from this stage configuration.
2007 Grand Prix F1 of Canada and
Fergie’s concert in Montréal:
A busy week-end
in Montreal for Stageline mobile stages
L’Assomption,
QC, June 11, 2007 – Every
year, the Grand Prix F1 of Canada gets Montréal
in party mode for three days. Action is everywhere:
on the Gilles-Villeneuve racetrack but also downtown
and it gets even hotter when the sun kicks in. Within
this context of festivities and promotional activities, Productions
Equinoxe, the marketing firm in charge of the
promotion of Budweiser products, used a Stageline SL
250. This type of unit responded perfectly to the logistics
constraints of the event and proved to be an effective
marketing tool.
Downtown Montréal, on Saturday 9th, Fergie performed
live on a brand new Stageline SAM
555. This outdoor
performance, presented by during the ‘’Music
Loves Fashion’’ event, was held in conjunction
with Time Supper Club’s 5th Year Anniversary celebration.
A Stageline Promobile – a mobile stage featuring
a double deck – has also been deployed to serve as
a VIP lounge, offering a spectacular view on the concert.
Thanks to their versatility, reliability and speed of
deployment, Stageline mobile stages have demonstrated
that they were instrumental in the success of any type
of outdoor event.
