About the product and sustainable development
Since a mobile stage is a pre-assembled trailer requiring no loading or unloading operation and needing no external energy source during setup and takedown activities – as distinct from conven-tional stages – they rank first in energy savings.
Covered mobile stages are durable recyclable products that do not intrude in the environments in which they are used.
Transportation

Just one (1) single truck tractor is necessary for transportation: since the mobile stage offers enough load capacity to carry all the material needed for setup, additional trucks are not re-quired. In these conditions, greenhouse-gas emissions are reduced to a minimum during this transportation phase.
Setup:

- The stage being self-standing and hydraulically activated, no material-handling equipment (crane or lift truck) is required – and there are therefore no additional greenhouse-gas emissions
- No preparation of the site (no grading or hauling materials)
- No soil disturbance by transport equipment, and no ballasting or anchorage in the ground is needed
- No restoration of the site after the event
Manufacture of the product:
Covered mobile stages are durable recyclable products that do not intrude in the environments in which they are used.
- Stageline uses 73% recycled steel in the manufacture of its units (source: Mittal Canada Inc.)
- Long equipment lifetime: in excess of 25 years
- A hydraulic mobile stage is 80% recyclable
